On the morning of November 16th, the International Scientists Exchange Center's inauguration ceremony and the overseas talent matchmaking event "International Keqiao District, Towards a Bright Future" were successfully held by the Office of the Leading Group for Talent Work of the CPC Shaoxing Municipal Committee and Shaoxing Golden Keqiao Sci-Tech City.
Wang Qinying, Member of CPC Standing Committee and Director of Organization Department of Shaoxing City, Wang Guobiao, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of Shaoxing Municipal Committee of the CPC, Zhang Jie, Member of the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Office，Pan Xiaodong, Member of the Standing Committee of Keqiao District Committee of the CPC, Director of the Organization Department and Xu Songjie, Director of the Construction and Management Committee of Shaoxing Golden Keqiao Sci-Tech City, were among the leaders in attendance.

Wang Qinying said in her speech that as the haze of the epidemic recedes, international cooperation, especially the exchange and cooperation of high-end scientific and technological talents, is increasingly recovering. During the event, Wang Guobiao and Pan Xiaodong jointly unveiled the International Scientists Exchange Center. Under the guidance of the Leading Group Office for Talent Work of the Municipal Committee and the District Committee, the construction and completion of the International Scientists Exchange Center aim to create an accessible space for talent exchanges, and meet the increasing work and life needs of overseas high-end talents in Shaoxing.
Seizing the opportunity of the unveiling of the International Scientists Exchange Center, a signing ceremony for projects at the Jean-Guy International Talent Joint Lab was also held. This innovation center, focuses on key areas such as artificial intelligence, AI learning, computer vision, natural language recognition, etc. Additionally, on-site cooperation signing ceremonies were conducted for Italian high-end talent projects with companies such as Zhejiang Riyue Salor Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Shaoxing Longwood New Material Technology Co., Ltd., Shaoxing MoreD Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Zhonghuan Copper Industry Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Tsaihua Technology Co., Ltd.
Anchoring the gathering of high-level talents, the overseas talent recruitment efforts in Keqiao, Shaoxing, have never ceased. The event is expected to further promote the exchange and cooperation between Shaoxing and the international scientific community, attract more outstanding international scientists, and accelerate the construction of Shaoxing as a talent highland in the new era, making a significant contribution to Shaoxing's efforts in tandem with talent and industry chains for deep integration.

Zhejiang (Shaoxing) High-Level Foreign Experts Innovation Center, is located in the core area of the Shaoxing Talent Entrepreneurship Park in Zhejiang. Ithe park adopts “government-led construction, professional agency operations, and departmental linkage service” operating model to build a four-in-one comprehensive platform of “talent introduction, technology research and development, achievement transfer, and logistics support”.Since 2017, Keqiao has been building the first High-Level Foreign Experts Innovation Center in the province, successively been selected as a “Hallmark Event of the 40th Anniversary of Zhejiang’s Opening Up,” the first batch of “Zhejiang Academician’s Home,” and an outstanding case in national talent work.Accumulatively, nearly 30 foreign entrepreneurial enterprises have settled in the zone, gathering more than 40 foreign talents and successfully signing contracts with 16 overseas academicians.This year, it newly received the city’s exclusive national-level honor, “Service Center for Overseas Professionals” from China Association for Science and Technology as well as provincial-level honors such as “Overseas Science and Technology Workers’ Home.”
